Having a destination wedding, there are a few more things to
consider than getting married at home especially if your wedding destination
will be featuring a beach. You have set
your heart on those gorgeous Manolo’s but how will you balance and not sink in
the sand. Should I wear something more
casual, do I actually need shoes? It’s a
question asked to me more times than you can imagine.

Well simply there is no answer but nothing is off
limits. You are getting married on the
beach and you can wear simply no shoes. Walking
down to your husband feeling the soft sand between your toes is a dream many
people have. You can still accessorize your feet as there is so much foot jewelry
to wear and show off together with a lovely pedicure and foot massage, your
feet will feel and look amazing without shoes. It’s also highly likely by the
end of the evening, those shoes would have come off anyway.

If this feels a little too bare, flat shoes or even flip
flops have been the footwear of choice.
Long wedding dresses cover a multitude of sins and you can get so many
glamorous pairs of flats or flip flops to wear on your special day. Plain or
glammed, the choice is yours and you can still treat yourself to that fabulous
pedicure and foot massage before.

Just because you are getting married and will be walking on
soft ground or sand doesn’t mean you have to forego those favorite shoes either. If your heart is calling for those beautiful
heels, don’t despair. There are a number of options. Firstly, you can invest in a set of high heel
protectors. These are fixed over the
high heel and give a wider base to walk on and therefore give you that much
needed stability on the grass or sand, not to mention protecting that valuable
heel.
Albeit heel protectors are discreet, if you really don’t want
to put something over that heel, we also offer another ‘discreet if not
invisible’ service. We provide wooden
flooring that we hide just underneath the sand for you providing a stable
platform for you to walk down. This is
all covered and decorated with delicate flower petals or can just be left as
natural sand. No one would ever know as
you elegantly glide down the aisle to your future husband.
